Nestled in the peaceful surroundings of Taormina, just a 15-minute walk from Corso Umberto, Oikos Taormina is a home designed for guests who wish to experience the town at a relaxed pace, without compromising on space, privacy, or sea views.
Recently renovated, the property retains the authentic character of a family residence, where antique furnishings blend harmoniously with modern comforts and contemporary finishes, creating an atmosphere that is both elegant and welcoming.
Spanning 180 m², the house offers bright, spacious interiors, making it ideal for families or groups of friends. It features two double bedrooms, a study with a double sofa bed, two fully renovated bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, a dining area, and a large living room that opens directly onto the panoramic terrace.
Terrace, Garden & Swimming Pool
The sea-view terrace is the heart of the house, a beautiful outdoor living space where you can relax, dine, and enjoy the views throughout the day.
From the terrace, you have direct access to the garden and the swimming pool, which are shared exclusively with our family. This is not a condominium pool, but a private and peaceful space surrounded by greenery, offering a quiet and relaxing atmosphere.
A Privileged Location
The house is located in a quiet residential area of Taormina, close enough to reach the historic centre with a pleasant 15-minute walk, yet far enough away to enjoy peace and tranquillity away from the crowds.
Like many of Taormina’s most scenic homes, Oikos Taormina is reached via a short uphill stretch. At the top of the hill, you’ll find the local bus stop, with regular services providing easy access to the historic centre.
A private parking space for one car is also available.

The house is equipped with high-speed Wi-Fi, a Smart TV with Sky, a fully equipped kitchen, air conditioning, and all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay, whether you’re visiting for a few days or enjoying a longer holiday.

Check-in & Check-out
Check-in is carried out in person, allowing us to welcome you, show you around the house, and provide useful information about both the property and your stay in Taormina.
For this reason, it is very important that you let us know your estimated arrival time as accurately as possible. The day before your arrival, we will contact you via WhatsApp to arrange a check-in time and ensure that we are at the house to welcome you, so you won’t have to wait.
Check-in: from 3:00 PM
Check-out: by 10:00 AM
For arrivals after 9:00 PM, a €25 late check-in fee applies, payable in cash upon arrival.
Guest Access
We are delighted to share our garden and swimming pool with our guests, offering a peaceful and relaxing outdoor space during your stay.
The swimming pool is not a condominium pool. It is shared exclusively with our family, who live in the apartment upstairs.
Please note that the swimming pool is not heated. It is closed during the winter months and is generally open from April through the end of October, depending on weather conditions.
Location & Accessibility
Oikos Taormina is located in a quiet residential area, approximately a 15-minute walk from Corso Umberto, Taormina’s historic main street.
Like many of Taormina’s most scenic homes, the property is reached via a short uphill walk of approximately 100 metres, which is typical of the town’s landscape. Guests with reduced mobility may wish to take this into consideration.
At the top of the hill, you’ll find the local shuttle bus stop, with buses running approximately every 20 minutes and providing convenient access to the historic centre. The same bus is also a practical way to reach the Decò supermarket at Porta Catania, where the stop is located directly opposite the entrance.
A private parking space for one car is available for guests.
Other Things to Note
The third room, furnished with a double sofa bed, is connected to the master bedroom, as it was originally designed as part of a family suite. It can be accessed either through the master bedroom or via a separate corridor connected to the living area.
To keep the garden looking its best, a member of our family will access the outdoor areas to water the plants, usually early in the morning or late in the afternoon. During the summer this is done daily, while in cooler seasons it is generally every other day.
Our two dogs, Papaya and Dora, are also part of the family. They only use the garden when we are present and are accustomed to being around guests.
We kindly ask you to enjoy the garden, swimming pool, and all outdoor areas with care, helping us keep them pleasant for everyone.
Booking & Cancellation Policy
A 20% deposit is required to confirm your reservation.
The remaining balance will be charged to your credit card within 24 hours of check-in.
Cancellation policy:
- Up to 30 days before arrival: Free cancellation.
- 30 to 14 days before arrival: 20% cancellation fee.
- Within 14 days of arrival or in case of a no-show: 100% cancellation fee.
If you need to make any changes to your reservation, please contact us as soon as possible. We will always do our best to accommodate your request.

Discounts are available for stays of 7 nights or longer. When you proceed with your booking, the discount will be applied automatically at the time the deposit payment is made.
